These days, privacy has become a much bigger concern these days, and many more people are growing more of an awareness of their own private data online. So is this a good time for the release of a search engine that helps keep data private?
In June 2020, Sridhar Ramaswamy, the former ad boss of Google, announced Neeva, an ad-free, subscription-based search engine.
In a recent announcement, the company raised $40 million during it’s Series B funding round, which all go towards working on the search infrastructure of the search engine, as well as the expansion into non-US markets. $37 million was already raised previously by the company.
