For those of us who uses Twitter quite often, such as myself, when we make a mistake in sending a tweet that we didn’t mean to send, we would have to do a full delete, and then redo the tweet altogether. There have been number of Twitter users who wanted the platform to add an ‘Edit’ option so you change that grammar or spelling error, or do a full edit to something you said in that tweet.
After what seems forever where Twitter said that it wasn’t going to happen, things might change.
With this new option, you can recall your tweet within 5 seconds of sending it out to the rest of the Twitterverse. This should give people time to redo any issue they have with what they said in the tweet.
