Ten Reasons Why You Need A Long-Term Content Strategy

Content Marketing is an important part of your online presence. Marketers tell you that content is a vessel for both traffic and engagement. Despite that fact, marketers want to reduce the amount of time it takes to create content, so that they can focus on “more important things.”

This means they’ll write something just to get it out.

Unfortunately, this means that they might be losing out. They will lose out on being able to build trust with customers and clients, leads, conversions and Google rank.

At the end of the day, you’ll end up shooting yourself in the foot. The time and effort you do put into content just won’t work out. If you don’t bother doing content right, then perhaps you just shouldn’t do it at all.

It’s time you find out that it can take at least a half a year to get your content ranking well. Julia McCoy wrote a post for Search Engine Journal she takes us deep into why we should play the long game with content.
