It’s interesting to see how shopping and looking for products and services have changed over the years. We used to always go to a brick and mortar store for our products or to get a service, but in recent years, we’ve gotten to the point where we can experience shopping in an online environment.
With the advent of digital assistants, we can now shop – with our voices. But do people really like shopping by talking to their Alexa or other assistant? It would seem that many people aren’t a big fan of it.
“More than half of US adults said they have never shopped for goods via voice and have no interest in trying voice shopping. In fact, just 9% of US adults have ever shopped via voice, and only 2% have done so regularly,” according to data from Bizrates and eMarketer.
Based on the chart below, if you are an HVAC business and you are thinking of extending your client-side abilities to digital assistants, it might be a good idea if you consider other avenues of possibility.
