Social media offers a great deal to a lot of people for a number of reasons. You can find news about your favorite topics, keep up with friends, and see what\’s going on in the world today.
But social media also offers a lot to both employers and those searching for jobs as well.
In a recent piece by Ted Craig on ACHR (which you can find here), he talks about how social media these days can help HVAC contractors connect with job candidates, which can make things a lot easier for everybody.
In the post, he discusses how Stephanie Postel was able to use social media to aid in her latest job search, which helped her get a job at Contractor Commerce.
The article goes on to talk about opening up to new applicants with social media, since the old ways of hiring don\’t seem to be working as well as they used to. He even goes on to using the likes of LinkedIn or even TikTok to find work in the HVAC industry.
