It\’s true that header tags are an important aspect of SEO. Google, along with other search engines like Bing, uses these headers to quickly crawl through a page and determine how to rank your content. It helps Google discern your content and even helps people read more efficiently.

Plus, by including a variety of headers to your content, it can give you a clean indication of what kind of information can be found on the page.

But do they count as ranking factors in Google? What about H2 to H6? It’s time we see the evidence for and against this idea that Heading tags actually help out with your site rankings on Google.
