YouTube, for as long as been around (it came out in December of 2005, can you believe it’s been that long?), we’ve considered the platform to be a source of everything video. But now, there are people who use the site for more than that. They are using it for audio purposes as well (such as YouTube Music).
Last November, YouTube announced that they would release audio ads options, allowing marketers to connect to their audience in a different way than just video.
The team from Creatopy recently did some testing with video and audio ads on YouTube, where they found there are some key similarities between these two different ad formats. The findings were then compiled into the following infographic, which you can find below.
