Yelp Introduces A Searchable Asian-Owned Business Profile Attribute

Yelp has added a new profile attribute that allows businesses to self-identify as Asian-owned. This new attribute joins women-owned, Black-owned and Latinx-owned diversity attributes.

This attribute is good if you want to distinguish your business, allowing more people who want to support diversity in business on Yelp.

Yelp’s Local Economic Impact Report says that businesses that are Asian, Black and Latinx-owned have increased in demand recently. Overall searches in February indicates that demand for these businesses have increased by 2,930% compared to February of 2020.
