It seems that we\’re seeing less website home pages on the Google search results lately. But why?
The reason for the reduced appearance of home pages in Google search results is due to the continuous advancement of algorithms and changes in user search behavior. In the past, it was common to come across home pages in the SERPs. However, Google\’s algorithms have evolved and become more sophisticated, allowing them to understand what users are searching for and provide them with more specific and relevant results. Instead of displaying the main source of information (i.e., the home page), Google now takes users directly to the page that satisfies their search intent. Essentially, Google\’s aim is to better comprehend user search intent and offer more precise results.
