There are always going to be times when we make mistakes, regardless of what we are doing. It’s just how it is….we’re humans. We make mistakes in our personal lives, as well as in our professional ones. In this case, marketers are totally capable of making the occasional whoopsy when they’re doing SEM.
It’s a pretty common occurrence, but like with some mistakes, if you realize you did something wrong, it can be easy to fix if you catch it soon enough. It’s all about staying vigilant and observant as you do your work. Catching them asap can really be a god send, because if you don’t, or you don’t fix them immediately, then things can get real hairy, real quick.
Some of these SEM mistakes includes:
- Failing to control your spend.
- Structuring the account wrong from the start
- Applying engine recommendations haphazardly
- Not utilizing negative keywords.
- and more
