Over the last few years, privacy and personal data has become a big thing, especially after the Cambridge Analytica scandal revealed that Facebook had been giving third parties personal data from users.
After that, we saw the attempt by the US government to ban TikTok since it was believed that the Chinese government was taking user information for themselves from the app.
The University of Sydney recently conducted a survey of over 1,000 social media users and nonusers from the US, UK, and Australia, to see what people thought about data security (they focused on TikTok).
