Beginner Digital Marketing Class – What Is An Ad Network?

Ad networks are an important element of the mobile advertising ecosystem. They act as a technical and commercial intermediary between advertisers and publishers.

According to Adjust.com, ad networks “aggregate ad inventories from supply sources and match them with demand sources looking for ad slots. The supply sources in a mobile ad network typically constitute apps from publishers and app developers. Demand sources are made up of advertisers looking to place their ad in another app.”

Basically, an advertising network is where you are able to access a lot of different advertising locations through a central network.

Ignite Visibility has created an introductory video to digital marketing class, where John Lincoln, an expert in the world of digital marketing, is here to show us more about what an ad network is.
