Should You Use WordPress Pages Or Posts?

WordPress has been around since May of 2003, and according to BuiltWith’s data, has become the most-used website platform around the world, as it powers almost 40% of the top 1 million trafficked websites.

Despite this information, there are still a lot of people out there with businesses who are just getting into the idea of creating their own WordPress website. In this case, starting a WordPress site can be pretty overwhelming for them. For these beginners, they probably won’t know the difference between a page and a post.

What is the difference between a page and post anyway?

Pages are used for static content, and posts are used for more timely content that is updated on a regular basis. Depending on how you have your website set up, you could have a combination of both pages and posts, as they both have their uses.
