Google has really evolved since the early days when it first launched in 1998. The search engine has become this juggernaut that has managed to help users find exactly what they are looking for.
But what if you accidently misspell a query? On one hand, you\’d think that Google wouldn\’t know what you\’re talking about, but somehow, it can look past that mistake and still assist you in what you\’re looking for. After all, one in ten search queries are misspelled.
Luckily, that evolution that we mentioned earlier has allowed Google to know what you are looking for even if you didn\’t spell everything just right. Algorithms have been created to get the search engine past those spelling errors.
Why is it a good thing that users enter accidental typos and spelling errors into Google? Well, it trains Google\’s spelling algorithm to get better and learn what people are really trying to look for when it finds a misspelling.
